Na jaren op Strijp-T heeft het standbeeld van Gerard Philips eindelijk zijn definitieve thuis gevonden: het Victoriapark in de binnenstad van Eindhoven. Op donderdag 9 april werd het bronzen beeld plechtig verplaatst van het Gloeilampplantsoen naar deze historische plek in het centrum, een moment dat zowel symbolisch als historisch groot is voor de stad.
