As we've travelled around the country, we're big railroad-watching people. Just love the sound of the train whistles at night, love to watch them as they go down the tracks (some of them quite long) and we like to take turns guessing what's in each car. On our way back to Florida, I wanted to stop in Paducah, Kentucky for a visit. Why? Well, one is this Quilt Museum, and the murals on the river wall that illustrated Paducah's long history. Besides, it's just a neat, historical place with marvelous downtown old buildings.
