I have a Cummins 300-2880 automatic voltage regulator. Capacitor C17 is blown. I think there were numbers on both sides and the top. I don’t recognize the numbers in the photos. Can anyone provide the values so that I can order a replacement cap?

Going to make an attempt at starting a running thread similar to the "what have you done to..." for those who a bench project going they want to share. Hopefully it takes off and keeps on going. It doesn't have to be limited to just amateur radio so much but in the spirit for those who still use a soldering iron to do electronics work be it surface mount or vacuum tubes.

I was fortunate to purchase a 10 HP McVicker automatic engine and bring it back to it's "state of conception". I say that because Walter J. McVicker was a Nebraskan and was working on the McVicker engine design in Omaha, NE. I have attached a letter that was posted before between Walter J. McVicker and his brother George.

Has anyone used Poppy's Patina wipe on clear coat? Just wondering how good it works, it's expensive. What other clear coats have you used to preserve Patina on old stuff?
