Here’s a good old angry troll I made while drawing with my son. He looks particularly furious, maybe he just stubbed his toe! There’s something about drawing exaggerated emotions that really brings characters to life.

I made this blue robot guy while drawing alongside my four-year-old son. I added some cross-hatching to finish up the background, giving it a bit more depth and texture.

I drew Usagi Yojimbo in the rain a few years back. I’ve been a fan of Stan Sakai’s comics since I was a kid. My brother introduced me to the early graphic novels when I was at summer camp in Michigan.

I think this marks my 400th post on my sketch blog. That represents hundreds of drawings and countless hours of creativity.

This is a drawing I made of a young witch and her enormous pet caterpillar. I created it during my online teaching days in the pandemic. The large pet adds a fun, surreal element to the scene.

Here’s my drawing of a monster creeping up behind an archeologist in the deep, dark jungle. I like the design of the creature. The inspiration for the drawing came from a mask I saw in an art museum.
