Two questions on the new aluminum trim one can buy. I just noticed one side of the inside of the channel is ribbed and one is smooth. Which side goes up on the boat? And, does anyone know what type of aluminum is used for this trim? An AI search gave me 6061, 6063, and 5 something as possibilities. Or maybe something else?
