COLUMBUS, Ohio — Initial weekly unemployment claims in Ohio rose by more than 1,300 last week, while continued claims saw a slight decrease, state officials announced Thursday.
Ohioans filed 6,106 initial jobless claims during the week of May 24 to May 30, an increase of 1,352 claims from the previous week, according to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
