At what points in time can we say that "יד ישראל תקיפה"? More specifically, is this only when we had a Beit Hamikdash, or can we say it can also be when we don't have a Beit Hamikdash? It is well known that one is not allowed to make a hefsek during pesukei dezimro. This includes saying responding Boruch Hu Uvoruch Shmo to brochos, Brich Hu to Kaddish, and Modim Derabonon (except the 1st three word). What is the halocho if one forgot and made such a hefsek? Should he continue and not say Yishtabach? Should he repeat Boruch Sheomar? Or maybe something else?
