If so what can you tell me about it? Good? Bad? Other than its famous/infamous connection to Elvis I don’t know much about it other than it’s a mixed style. There’s a dojo near me that will let you rank in pasaryu and hapkido at the same time so I’m intrigued. Anyone able to give me some insight?

Hi guys,

I recently started training Brazilian jiu-jitsu after ten years training karate/mma.

In the last 4 weeks at jui juitsu Iv managed to break 2 toes, the little one on one foot and the middle one on the other.

In my ten years of karate we have rolled a lot and Iv only broken a toe once, so I'm wondering if this is unusual?

I found a class that is teaching Okinawan Kubudo, I have always been interested in these weapons. Also has Iaijutsu, which is also of interest.

I remember conversations back when I was mainly a TKD/HKD guy, that centered on the idea that I don't know what I'm talking about because these arts don't pressure test in the same way as combat sports.
