Bonnie Springs was a fun attraction for families and I enjoyed going there occasionally for photo ops. About eight years ago the place was sold to… you guessed it, land developers and the place was bulldozed.

A couple of days ago I took the old 2008 Canon camera and two lenses to the Goodwill store near me. As I approached the door an employee and a young woman were chatting. Well, that’s how this looked anyway but you never know who is a supervisor or just a lazy employee from our perspective. I don’t envy these men working in today’s 99 degree heat or the 105 degree heat coming Wednesday and Thursday. It’s so good to be retired, I can relax and enjoy watching Americans at work.
