Sounds like alot of work, but I may try some of the route on my own when I get a gravel bike.

Wondering if someone here has a road bike (or something with skinny tires for pavement) that could use a new home.

Most important is pavement performance, low gearing and rear rack compatibility. 33” inseam, usually ride a L mtb. 56cm or thereabouts.
