Reports came out afterwards that Detroit was one of the top destinations that Q Hughes wanted to get traded to a few months ago. Apparently Yzerman refused to pull the trigger because he valued Simon Edvidsson too much and Edvidsson was the player the Canucks were targeting.

Minny then swooped in and the rest is history.

I wanted to gauge what a trade to Detroi...

I figured this type of a thread would be in order since we've been talked about several times as being active in the trade market.

To get the conversation going: David Jiricek seems to be on the outs in Columbus. Hypotethically speaking, would you trade L'Heureux for him straight up?
