It is with great sadness that we announce Brian Hodson passed away peacefully at Maple Leaf Lodge Care Home on the 19th May 2026, aged 93 years.

I have just witnessed a man spraying chemicals on the front sidings of the houses of Shakespeare Avenue, he was riding a 3 wheel mobility scooter in a high vis and shorts with a tub of chemicals in the front basket. I challenged him and he would not give his name, he stated it was weed killer but would not tell me which type.
