On Saturday 30th of May 2026, Darren Wood became the first person in the UK to complete 1000 parkruns and he is shown above with the coveted yellow 1000 milestone jersey.Considering that there are roughly 52 to 54 events per year, it means that it takes about 20 years to reach the 1000 mark!The first volunteer to reach 1000 credits in the UK was back in March of 2024... see this...
