That is perhaps especially true in recent years, when politics has thrown up so much that would previously have been almost unthinkable. The dust is now settling after last week’s elections whilst the fallout very much continues, especially in terms of the leadership crisis engulfing the Labour government which is developing rapidly as I write (so that there may well be new developments in even the next few hours).
